On behalf of Contour, Marcher Markholt is looking for an ambitious and result-focused Key Account Manager who will get a key role in implementing and maintaining channel and sales strategies at the Danish market. You will take on an essential role in ensuring the integrated Contour Partner Program and take part in the daily management of distributors and resellers.
Founded in 1995 by Steve Wang of Windham, New Hampshire, USA, Contour. develops and sells ergonomic computer mouse devices that allow users to work safely on their computers without the risk of pain or strain. Contour, which sells and markets the products in Europe and US and is headquartered in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Contour has been the market leader in the industry since the launch of their first ergonomic mouse. Their award-winning mouse - RollerMouse Red - is the result of many years of targeted research, development and design. Over the years, Contour has managed to shift the perception of ergonomic mouse devices as a tool for the few, to a tool for anyone who wants to prevent injuries as a result of working in front of the computer. Thus, it is no longer solely a question of symptom treatment, but the desire for greater profits and efficiency in everyday life that drives the investment in ergonomic mouse devices.
Contour also has partnerships with distributors and dealers of ergonomic office equipment in selected countries e.g., Benelux, Germany, France, United Kingdom, and the Nordics.

In the position as Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, implementing, and managing channel and sales strategies at the Danish Market. A key element to drive development is for you to work closely together with our resellers and manage the Contour Partner Program by maintaining and ensuring growth of sales by successfully managing all levels of the program.
Furthermore, you will take on an essential role in ensuring the integrated Partner Program with a new Value-Added Price program and take part in daily management of the system with distributor and resellers. This position is an ideal opportunity to develop your professional skills within sales and business development as it is expected that you will become an expert in understanding the customers’ businesses, challenges, opportunities, and strengths.
Your market- and business insight will thus play a vital role in deciding and developing regional go-to-market strategies.
Among your responsibilities, you will build and communicate quarterly sales and marketing business plans with integration of demand generation activities and forecasting. Driving the roll-out of dedicated in-store solutions at Partners and tailor training programs for all levels of sales channels. are also essentials for you to own.
Finally, you will be given ambitious sales targets and be rewarded correspondingly by a motivating bonus program. As Key Account Manager, you will be reporting to the local Channel Manager and work closely together with your stakeholders in the Global Marketing and Business Controlling team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Establish sell-out and sell-through analysis based on marketing activities and sales run-rates
- Manage sales, forecast and marketing activity plans with Partners
- Responsible for own sales and marketing budgets
- Drive incentive and growth programs with resellers
- Initiate reseller and end-user campaigns with ROI tracking
- Implement/maintain Contour Partner Program at selected identified resellers
- Integrate/maintain new Value-Added Program structure with resellers
- Roll-out dedicated in-store solutions at Business/Premium Partners
- Tailor training programs for all levels of sales channels
- Build sales and marketing business plan towards (top 100) end-users
- Willing to meet the expected travel at approximately 40-50 days a year
The ideal candidate to this position holds a bachelor’s degree and comes with +3 years of industry related business development experience from the IT industry. It is a clear advantage if you have experience from a similar role within account management or other relevant sales roles. Having a natural interest in computer devices and the products is also a clear advantage, but not a requirement.
To fulfill this role as Key Account Manager you have a proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies. You possess strong analytic, communication and interpersonal skills. Most importantly, you are result-oriented, outgoing and a strong networker and collaborator who thrives in a social office environment. Being an inspiring communicator and storyteller, who is audience-minded and can motivate and convince people around you are a must as a big part of the role is related to sales.
